First-year Ohio State coach Urban Meyer has plenty of talent to choose from in the state of Ohio, but the Buckeyes have been reeling in the out-of-state recruits recently. That continued Monday morning.
Four-star ESPN 150 defensive tackle Joey Bosa out of Saint Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., verbally committed to the Buckeyes on Monday. He made his announcement on Twitter.
"Thank you to everyone who had an interest in me ... I can't even say how thankful I am but Ohio State is just the place for me #gobucks," Bosa wrote from his account @jbbigbear.
Bosa, ranked No. 41 in the ESPN 150 and No. 6 at his position, is the 13th commitment of the Buckeyes' 2013 class and seventh member of the ESPN 150.
The Buckeyes now have seven out-of-state commitments, six of which have come in the month of April.
Alabama, Florida, Florida State and Notre Dame are among the handful of offers for the 6-foot-4, 260-pound junior.
