It was only a few days ago that Peoria (Ill.) Manual junior offensive lineman Logan Tuley-Tillman began receiving interest from Notre Dame. Well, things have picked up quickly between the two.
Shortly after Notre Dame assistant Ed Warriner and Tuley-Tillman exchanged messages on Facebook, Tuley-Tillman reached out to the Fighting Irish staff, who invited the 6-foot-7, 280-pound lineman to a bowl practice. Tuley-Tillman said in a text message Thursday he will take the Irish up on their offer, though no date has been set for the unofficial visit yet.
Tuley-Tillman was an Illinois lean and said he would have likely committed to the Illini during their junior day, but he is now open after Ron Zook was fired.
Tuley-Tillman has offers from Illinois, Indiana and Missouri and Boise State, Michigan and Nebraska are three other teams he favors at this early juncture.
