ESPN 300 cornerback William Poole III received his Under Armour All-America Game jersey Friday in a presentation sponsored by American Family Insurance at Hapeville Charter High in Atlanta, Ga.
“It's means everything,” Said Poole III. “It’s truly an honor to be selected along with the other guys who've played in this game in the past and went on to be successful,”

Poole is a member of Georgia’s top-five ranked recruiting class. For the 6-foot-0, 179-pound cornerback, staying in-state for college was a cherry on top more than a deciding factor.
“It's the best place for me and where I see myself in the future. Everything I need and require in the classroom as well as on the field is at UGA. The relationships/network I have there are second to none and it's just a cherry on top that it's in the home state.”
Five questions with William Poole III:
What players are you looking forward to competing with or against at the Under Armour All America game?
"I'm looking forward to competing with all of the guys that play the same position. All of the DB's, and I’m looking forward to competing against whoever steps in front of. I just want to have fun and compete."
What is your earliest football memory?
"Scoring my first TD at the age of 10, on a punt I blocked."
If you could take on any professional athlete in their sport, who would it be?
What number do you wear, and why?
"I wear 1 because it's just a mindset I have when I wear that #1. In my mind I'm the best player on the field."
What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
"I love to listen to Michael Jackson."
The 2017 Under Armour All-America Game will be played on January 1 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla. on ESPN with practices televised on ESPNU during the week.
