Decatur Central (Indianapolis) linebacker Jordan Jackson just wrapped up his visit to Ball State, and the Cardinals could offer soon.
“They said that I’m a kid they want to offer but want to see how their linebackers progress right now to see which kids to offer and how many kids,” Jackson said.
Jackson, at 6-feet and 200 pounds, is being recruited as a middle linebacker by the Cardinals. Jackson said he was told he would be one of the first linebackers the Cardinals will offer.
“They said I’m pretty high on their list of kids and want to see more of me on campus and really like how I play,” he said.
Jackson visited Ball State during the fall for its game against Army, and he enjoyed his return trip.
“It’s a pretty nice place, coaching staff was pretty cool and facilities were nice,” he said. “Campus life was tight. I met some players, talked to the strength coach.”
Jackson plans to visit Northern Illinois, Northwestern and Toledo in the near future.
