Four-star athlete Jamal Carter (Miami/Southridge) committed Thursday to play for his hometown Hurricanes, multiple sources report. According to the Miami Herald, Carter was also considering Florida, Florida State, LSU and Hawaii.
Arkansas, Auburn, Louisville, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Purdue, South Florida, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, Virginia and West Virginia also extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot-1, 190-pound four-star prospect.
Carter is the 10th pledge for Miami. According to ESPN.com, the Hurricanes currently hold the nation’s No. 18-rated 2013 recruiting class.
