Scouts: Marshall a great fit for Ducks

ESPNU 150 RB Byron Marshall (San Jose, Calif./Valley Christian) has the speed and big-play ability that fits well in the Ducks’ offense. The California native has the acceleration and burst out of his cuts to excel in Chip Kelly’s scheme that does a great job opening vertical creases for its backs and gets them out in space.

Marshall certainly has the one-on-one ability to create mismatches in space and the cutback ability, with just enough power, to shed inside tackles in an Oregon offense that deceptively likes to attack downhill with its backs. The future Duck also has polished hands that will be needed in the screen game and is just an explosive package that really found the right scheme to excel in at the next level.
