Air Force scores three-star safety

Kieron Williams (Shreveport, La./C.E. Byrd) officially visited Air Force on Jan. 11th and Louisiana-Monroe on Jan. 18th. Prior to those visits, he told the Shreveport Times, "I'm kind of between Air Force and ULM right now." Last weekend, following his visit to ULM, the three-star safety decided on Air Force.

Grambling State, Louisiana-Lafayette, McNeese State, Northwestern State and Ole Miss also extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot-1, 182-pound senior prospect.

ESPN feels Air Force is getting a sleeper, calling Williams, "an effective run and pass defender who operates from a variety of alignments... has the upside which should lead to a long and productive career at the BCS level of play."
