Our ACC fan question of the week comes from Ricky Garcia, a Miami Hurricanes fan.

Dowlar: Ricky, it certainly doesn't hurt. At all.
It seems like more and more these days, kids put a lot of stock into wins against rivals. I think this happens for a couple of reasons. 1. The atmosphere is usually outstanding. Fans pack the stadiums and are excited to see their team take on someone they don't like. Don't think for a second that recruits don't care about atmosphere. 2. The coaches have tangible evidence to sell them on. It's easier for Al Golden to say, "Come on down!" after a big win like that. They can buy what he's saying.
The one prospect I point to is Anthony Moten of Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas. He's from South Florida and he's generally perceived to be down to UM and UF. So if the above is true, and Miami carries out its end of the deal, the Canes should have a great chance to land him when the time comes.
