Most of the national recruiting attention has been focused on the jobs that Alabama, Clemson, Texas A&M, Penn State and Auburn have done with their top-10 recruiting classes. But if you dig a little bit deeper, you'll notice some 2015 classes have definitely surprised with their early success. Here's a look at the top surprise classes in each conference throughout the country.
After a solid effort in 2014, Boston College continues to do big things on the trail in 2015. Not only are the Eagles ranked in the top 40, they're also leading the conference in total commitments with 23. Of those, 21 are three-star players and offensive lineman Wyatt Knopfke ranks in the ESPN 300. Yes, there's not as much flash as what you see with Clemson or Miami's classes, but there have been a lot of positive surprises so far with BC's effort.
