New Mexico's class takes shape

Head coach Bob Davie has received six verbal commitments for the Class of 2012.

Three-star Ryan Santos (Klein, Texas/Klein Collins) is the headliner and he announced his commitment on his twitter page. He chose the Lobos over offers from Boise State, Colorado and Rice.

Two-star defensive tackle Dominic Twitty (Mount Holly, N.J./Rancocas Valley) also pledged to New Mexico, multiple sources report. He had other offers from Minnesota and Temple.

Another two-star, offensive guard Garrett Adcock (Mesquite, Texas/Dallas Christian) decided to commit to New Mexico, Scout.com reports. Adcock, whose brother Chris plays at California, also had offers from Air Force, Army, Bucknell, Central Arkansas, Harvard, Louisiana-Monroe, Navy, New Mexico State and Princeton.

Scout.com also reports that wide receiver Marquis Bundy (Anthem, Ariz./Boulder Creek) chose the Lobos after decommitting from Montana.

Tight end Christian Rebhun (Englewood, Colo./Cherry Creek) will bring his rangy frame to New Mexico, multiple sources report. Rebhun only caught five passes for 80 yards as a senior, but he was a standout on defense and the team's punter according to the Albuquerque Journal.

Texas' District 8-5A Player of the year, Carlos Wiggins (Plano, Texas/Plano West), is the sixth commitment for New Mexico. Wiggins switched from running back to wide receiver prior to his senior year and it was a smart move since he rushed for 1,353 yards and 15 touchdowns.
