Despite holding several offers from BCS Conference programs, three-star wide receiver Ray Martin (Sanford, Fla./Seminole) has give his commitment to Bethune-Cookman of the Football Championship Subdivision, multiple sources report.
The 5-foot-10, 180-pound Martin picked up scholarship offers from the following power conference programs earlier in the process; Georgia Tech, Indiana, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Washington State, Iowa and West Virginia.
Non-BCS and FCS schools including South Alabama, Florida A&M, East Carolina, Bowling Green, Temple, Memphis and Florida International also pursued the talented senior.
Martin showed off his athleticism on the combine circuit last offseason registering a 4.56 40-yard dash and 31.5-inch vertical.
He is the second three-star commitment for Bethune-Cookman, joining defensive back Terry Harden (Hollywood, Fla./Hollywood Hills).
