East Carolina scores productive back

Running back Jabo Lee (Dillon, S.C.) has elected to continue his career with the Pirates, CarolinaLive.com reports.

Lee, a 5-foot-9, 180-pound prospect, also picked up scholarship offers from Virginia Tech, Tennessee, Minnesota, Bowling Green and Miami-OH. Clemson and South Carolina expressed interest.

He was named the Myrtle Beach / Florence area player of the year last fall after rushing for 1,642 yards and 26 touchdowns. Lee exploded onto the scene as a sophomore when he rushed for 1,540 yards and 20 scores.

Lee's also impressed on the combine circuit registering a 4.65 40-yard dash and 30.5-inch vertical.

East Carolina has four pledges.
