Northwestern extended a scholarship offer to Blake King (Minooka, Ill.) Monday night and the offensive lineman committed to the Wildcats Tuesday, according to the Chicago Tribune.
"I really just fell in love with Northwestern after I made my first unofficial visit," he told the Tribune. "I was really hoping they would offer, and they did. I really appreciated all of the recruiting interest and offers, but in the end no one could top what Northwestern has to offer."
King, a 6-foot-5, 270-pounder, also picked up scholarships from Toledo and Western Michigan. Northwestern now has two verbals.
