Junior college defensive tackle Ben Bradley (Hutchinson, Kan./Hutchinson Community College) nabbed an offer from TCU on Thursday, upping his list of offers to 10.
Recruited by tight ends coach Dan Sharp, Bradley is a 6-foot-3, 310-pound workhorse who is expected to be an immediate impact player at a BCS program. He had 39 tackles (nine for loss) and a sack as a freshman for Hutchinson, which finished 9-3 and ranked No. 9 in the final NJCAA 2011 national poll.
Of Bradley’s 10 offers, three are from Big 12 schools, the others being Kansas and West Virginia.
“I’m happy with the [TCU] offer,” Bradley said, “but it really doesn’t matter the conference I play in. As long as I play right away and the place helps me get to the next level, I’ll play anywhere.”
Bradley visited Texas A&M last weekend with three other Hutchinson teammates. Texas A&M, Boise State and Georgia are three other schools Bradley has interest in. Georgia arguably is the most intriguing, as he played his high school ball at Norcross, Ga.
