Adam Taylor (Katy, Texas) was one of the better sophomores we had scouted two years ago at the running back position and could be a significant land out of Texas for LSU if he comes back healthy from a season-ending knee injury as a junior.
This decisive, downhill back really fits the mold of an LSU running back and helps fill a need at the position for the 2013 class. He has load-back size, speed and power when projecting for the college level and could develop into a future workhorse for the Tigers. He runs aggressively with the type of power and yards after contact strength that can wear down a defense while occasionally popping a long run with his deceptive speed.
Taylor needs to lower his pad level and continue adding size to improve durability at the college level but he is a physically impressive looking RB and a nice land for the LSU.
