Chris Griffin (Crawfordville, Fla./Wakulla County), a high three-star offensive guard, has committed to sign as part of Georgia Tech's Class of 2013, multiple sources report.
"You know how you go somewhere and you know it’s just right? That’s how I felt about Georgia Tech,” Griffin told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “I knew it was the right place for me, so I went ahead and told them I was coming there.”
Clemson, Florida International, Louisville, South Alabama, South Carolina, South Florida, Central Florida, Vanderbilt and Western Kentucky were among the other schools to offer the 6-foot-5, 280-pounder. Florida State and Miami (Fla.) showed interest.
Griffin is the third three-star offensive lineman to select Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets have seven total commitments for 2013.
