Fuller drops Penn State for ND

According to multiple sources, three-star wide receiver William Fuller (Philadelphia/Roman Catholic) has decommitted from the Nittany Lions and is now on board with Notre Dame. He originally selected Penn State in June.

Fuller also holds scholarship offers from Boston C0llege, Delaware, UMass, Rutgers, Temple, Toledo and Towson. UConn, Michigan State, NC State and Pittsburgh were among the other programs showing interest.

As a junior, the 6-foot-1, 163-pound prospect caught 46 passes for 758 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Additionally, Fuller tested well this spring on the Nike Combine circuit, posting an electronically-timed 4.53 40-yard dash, 4.25 20-yard shuttle, 33.9-inch vertical and 88.47 SPARQ.

The Irish now have 19 pledges in their 2013 class, rated No. 8 in the nation according to ESPN. Penn State's class has shrunk to 11 verbals but is still ranked in the top 20.
