Sun Devils remain hot on the trail

Three-star safety Tre Flowers (Converse, Texas/Judson) is the latest Class of 2013 prospect to select Arizona State, multiple sources report. He was recruited by Sun Devils assistant coach Chris Ball.

Boise State, Brigham Young, Houston, Iowa State, Kansas State, Memphis, Mississippi State, Oklahoma State, Tulsa, Utah and Texas-San Antonio also offered the 6-foot-3, 180-pound senior. Baylor and TCU were among the other schools expressing interest.

Flowers displayed impressive athleticism on the combine circuit prior to his junior year when he posted a 4.64 40-yard dash, 4.33 20-yard shuttle and 30.4-inch vertical.

He is the fifth three-star commitment for Arizona State in the last week. The Sun Devils now have 17 total players on board for 2013.
