Texas A&M commit Kyrion Parker (Manvel, Texas/Manvel) doesn’t want anyone reading anything into his scheduled appearance at Kyle Field on Saturday. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound, three-star receiver will be in College Station, Texas, strictly for the football environment.
He doesn't want anyone to suspect a potential commitment switch with his appearance.
Parker confirmed on Friday that he is solid with his commitment to the Aggies, and his sole purpose of attending Saturday’s Texas A&M-LSU game is for entertainment purposes. He is looking forward to seeing two of the top teams in the SEC go at it.
This was said because Parker originally committed to LSU at the beginning of June but switched his commitment to the Aggies later in the month, choosing to play in the SEC a little closer to home.
“I’m just going to be looking for who’s going to throw the ball more and execute,” Parker said.
He then followed that with, “I’m 100 percent [A&M]. Gig 'Em.”
Parker chose Texas A&M in June over offers from LSU, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Mississippi State, Louisiana Tech, Texas Tech and several other programs. Parker has 27 receptions for 674 yards and nine touchdowns this season for Manvel, which beat Pasadena (Texas) 70-3 on Thursday.
