Cre Moore picks Kansas State

The Wildcats finally saw their 7-0 start and No. 3 BCS ranking pay off on the recruiting trail as three-star cornerback Cre Moore (Broken Arrow, Okla.) committed this weekend. Moore revealed his decision on twitter and the news was confirmed by multiple sources including Bob Przybylo of ESPN's SoonerNation.com.

"Committed to Kansas State!!" Moore tweeted. Broken Arrow Strength and Conditioning coach Mike Wojciechowski also posted, "Congrats to one of my FB players @CreVII for committing to KSU tonight. Look forward to you continuing to help this TEAM reach our goal."

Moore was recruited by Kansas State defensive ends coach Joe Bob Clements. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound senior's other scholarship offers include Arkansas State, Colorado State, Houston, Kansas, Memphis, New Mexico, South Dakota, Tulsa, Western Kentucky and Wyoming. Arkansas, Iowa State, Nebraska, Oklahoma State and Rice showed interest.

The nation's No. 61-rated CB excelled on the Nike Combine circuit this spring. He posted an electronically-timed 4.51 40-yard dash, 4.37 20-yard shuttle, 36.3-inch vertical and 97.8 SPARQ.

Moore is the seventh 2013 pledge for the Wildcats and their first since early August. All seven players are considered three-star prospects by ESPN.
