Senior offensive tackle Jake Hilvert (Cincinnati/Elder) has pledged to play for Miami-OH, according to multiple reports.
ESPN's Jared Shanker reported earlier Tuesday that Hilvert's teammate, defensive end A.J. Burdine, selected the RedHawks.
Last week, Edler coach Doug Ramsey informed Cincinnati.com that Hilvert was holding scholarship offers from Alcorn State, Buffalo and Indiana State and had received interest from Eastern Kentucky.
The 6-foot-5, 290-pound blocker garnered first team all-league and second team all-district recognition this season.
Miami-OH has 18 commitments.
