Athlete T.J. Johnson (Cape Coral, Fla./Island Coast) committed Wednesday to play in the Pac-12 for Rich Rodriguez and the Arizona Wildcats, multiple sources report.
Florida Atlantic, Hawaii, Maryland, Miami (Fla.), Middle Tennessee, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, South Florida, Tennessee and West Virginia also extended scholarship offers to the 5-foot-8, 170-pound senior.
ESPN states in his scouting report, "Johnson is a dynamic football player who lines up as a receiver, tailback and safety and is capable of scoring from any spot on the field... Johnson's touches must be managed, but he has the potential to make a difference very early in his career from a variety of alignments."
The Wildcats have 27 players on board for 2013 and hold the nation's No. 37-ranked class. Johnson is the fifth four-star prospect to select Arizona during this recruiting cycle.
