Peoria (Ill.) defensive tackle Josh Augusta is ready to make his decision.
The No. 161 prospect in the ESPN 300, Augusta will make his commitment Sunday, he told ESPN.com in a text message. He is the second highest-rated uncommitted prospect in the Midwest.
Augusta was scheduled to visit Illinois this coming weekend, but he said that visit is canceled. His only official visits will have been to Missouri (Dec. 7) and Ole Miss (Nov. 23).
Illinois and Michigan State are among his finalists, but neither are considered likely landing spots. Augusta has said several times Missouri is his leader, although Ole Miss is closing strong and just landed Illinois prospect Laquon Treadwell on Thursday.
The 6-foot-4, 275-pound Augusta also had offers from the likes of Notre Dame and Oklahoma.
