WR Jester Weah ready to announce

Academics come first for Madison (Wis.) Memorial receiver Jester Weah, but football comes a close second.

Which is why Weah will make his commitment as soon as he finishes his finals Friday.

"I'm doing it after finals," he said. "I'm not doing anything big ... just announcing the school."

Weah will choose between Colorado State and Pittsburgh. He said Iowa State could be under consideration late if the Cyclones offer. The coaches should hear from Weah sometime around 1 p.m. ET Friday.

The Panthers hosted Weah for an official visit the weekend of Jan. 18 and offered while Weah was on campus. Weah visited Pitt with another Wisconsin prospect in Ocomonowoc linebacker Zach Poker, who committed Wednesday to the Panthers.

Colorado State was Weah's first official visit, going out to see the Rams the weekend of Nov. 30.

Weah stands 6-foot-3, weighs 190 pounds and was timed at 4.54 in the 40-yard dash.
