RB Howard commits to "dream school"

According to multiple sources, junior running back Naesean Howard (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) has committed to play for Syracuse.

He spoke with cnycentral.com earlier this week after receiving a scholarship offer from the Orange:

"Syracuse has been my dream school since I was younger and knowing that I have a scholarship, that I can go there if I keep my grades up, and stay healthy in football that I could play for SU football, it's nice."

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound prospect also holds an early scholarship offer from Buffalo. Scout.com lists Boston College, UConn, Nebraska and Utah as having also shown interest.

He is Syracuse's first Class of 2014 verbal.
