Three-star S Holder commits to Stanford

Three-star safety Alijah Holder (Oceanside, Calif./Oceanside) added a Stanford offer to his list recently and saw enough during a visit to Palo Alto this past week to arrive at a decision on Saturday.

"I had a great visit at the Stanford camp on Wednesday," Holder told ESPN.com's Erik McKinney. "I liked what I saw, what was going on and the coaches. I just made a call to coach [Lance] Anderson and gave my commitment to be a Cardinal."

The 6-foot-1, 165-pound Holder also had scholarship offers from Arizona, BYU, Idaho, Nevada, San Diego State, San Jose State and Washington State. His twin brother, receiver Mikah, has offers from most of the same schools.

Holder became the sixth commit for the Cardinal and second safety in the 2014 recruiting class, joining ESPN 300 prospect Brandon Simmons (Arlington, Texas/Timberview).
