Speedster Ronald Darby leaves Notre Dame

Four-star cornerback Ronald Darby (Oxon Hill, Md./Potomac; No. 69 in the ESPNU 150), who was the top rated player in Notre Dame's class, has opened up his recruitment, multiple sources report.

Darby, who pledged to the Irish in April, 2011, is expected to visit Florida State and Clemson. He is also considering making stops at Ohio State and LSU and he has offers from many other top programs.

The 5-foot-11, 176-pounder exploded onto the national scene at the 2011Under Amour All-American Combine, where he blazed an electronically timed 4.31 40-yard dash.
