Just when Josh Malone is evaluating one passing offense, another comes calling.
Soon after returning home from a visit to North Carolina, Washington State offered the junior wide receiver a scholarship.
"They love to throw the ball with the Air Raid offense," said Malone, 6-foot-3, 190-pound prospect from Gallatin (Tenn.) Station Camp, about the Cougars.
Asked about his weekend trip to Chapel Hill, N.C., to inspect the Tar Heels, Malone said, "It's a good school and they have a good offense and they like to throw the ball, too."
Malone is scheduled to visit Georgia and Auburn in November. He hasn't received a scholarship offer from either school yet, but he said there is a strong possibility that he will.
