Juco WR Mireles signs with Ole Miss

Quadarias Mireles was an Ole Miss guy coming out Delray Beach, Fla., Atlantic Community High School in 2010.

Two years later, he stuck with it.

Now at Hinds (Miss.) Community College, the ESPN Junior College 100 athlete re-signed with the Rebels on Wednesday and will enroll in January.

"I stuck with them the whole time," said Mireles, a versatile performer who can play running back, wide receive and return kicks. "I was a little nervous when they had their coaching change [from Houston Nutt to Hugh Freeze], but when I went over there, I was still comfortable with the coaches."

Mireles caught a team-high 38 passes for 365 yards and also rushed for 249 yards for Hinds as a sophomore. He was also the Eagles' primary kick returner.

He sees himself in a similar role at Ole Miss.

"Slot receiver, running back, kick returner, I'd like to do it all," he said.
