BATON ROUGE, La. -- Garrett Brumfield (Baton Rouge, La./University Lab) has spent his high school career on LSU's campus.

He'll stay there for college.

The ESPN 150 offensive lineman, whose high school is on LSU's campus, committed to the Tigers on Saturday after LSU's spring game, giving LSU its ninth commitment for the 2014 class.

At University Lab, Brumfield teamed with 2013 Alabama recruit Tim Williams and 2015 top prospect Nick Brossette. A hulking right tackle for U-High, he projects as a guard in LSU's system.

The No. 98 player in the ESPN 150, Brumfield is LSU's second offensive line commitment of the class, joining offensive guard William Clapp, another in-state prospect.

Of the nine prospects, four are from Louisiana and five are in the ESPN 150. LSU's class was ranked fourth in the ESPN rankings prior to Brumfield's pledge.
