Kentucky recently made a big jump up ESPN RecruitingNation's 2014 class rankings from No. 23 to No. 12. The Wildcats' momentum continued Friday with a commitment from rising senior wide receiver Tyre Brady (Homestead, Fla./South Dade), according to media reports.
Brady picked the Wildcats over scholarship offers from Florida State, Miami (Fla.), Minnesota, Mississippi State and Central Florida. Cincinnati and Florida, among others, also showed interest.
Kentucky defensive line coach Jimmy Brumbaugh led UK's pursuit of the 6-foot-3, 193-pound pass catcher.
Brady is Kentucky's 17th pledge for 2014 but only the second receiver. Four-star Thaddeus Snodgrass (Springfield, Ohio/Springfield) announced for the Wildcats in April.
