Bama commit Scarbrough talks visits

BRADENTON, Fla. -- Whether it was at linebacker, running back or even wide receiver, ESPN 300 athlete Bo Scarbrough (Tuscaloosa, Ala./Northridge) was all over the field making plays for his team at the IMG 7v7 National Championships on Saturday.

Scarbrough, a long-time Alabama commit and No. 19 in the ESPN 300, said he is planning to see at least three other schools, Georgia, Florida and Florida State, in July.

Though Scarbrough said he remains solid to Alabama, he admits he's looking hard at two other schools.

"I'm also looking at Florida and Georgia," Scarbrough said. "I will visit Georgia next month and I'll visit Florida on July 26 for Friday Night Lights.

Scarbrough said he has developed a strong relationship with Florida running backs coach Brian White.

"I think that coach White is a very good coach," he said. "Me and his relationship is very tight. I like the way that he does things and I like the way he coaches his players."

While in Florida, Scarbrough and his cousin C'yontai Lewis, a Florida commit, had a chance to visit Florida State.

"I think that Florida State is a nice place," Scarbrough said. "We didn't really get to see the campus much, but of course we are going to go back in July, too.

Scarbrough, who said FSU and Georgia are recruiting him the hardest, admits Lewis is trying to get him to switch to Florida, but Scarbrough said he's dishing it back to his cousin.

"He's on me kind of tough," Scarbrough said with a laugh. "If Alabama were to offer him, of course I'm going to recruit him to come roll with the Tide."
