The trip to Boca Raton was not very far for Royal Palm Beach (Fla.) athlete Tremane McCullough, but he might not need to go much farther.
"It was a real nice place and you can see the improvement they are making everywhere," McCullough said. "The stadium is real nice and the players I hung around are really happy there."
McCullough would be a big commitment for Florida Atlantic as the new coaching staff wants to implement a spread offense. The 5-foot-8, 160-pound senior gained over 2,000 yards of total offense this year.
"I can come in right away and contribute to the new offense as a running back, a slot guy and a return specialist," McCullough said. "And I like the fact they are trying to recruit Palm Beach County heavily."
Still there are other schools that McCullough is waiting on.
"Both Wake Forest and UCF have been in touch with me so I'm kind of playing everything by ear," McCullough added. "I don't have a visit set up this weekend but that could change."
