Grayson teammates are Colorado State bound

You can add two to the Colorado State commit list in Grayson (Ga.) teammates Nick Schuessler and Fred Zerblis. They committed to the Rams earlier this week, according to head coach Mickey Conn.

“They have a really good coach in [Jim] McElwain,” Conn said. “And Billy Napier is up there with him. They are going to turn that program around, and it’s such a beautiful place.”

Schuessler is a quarterback and Zerblis is an interior offensive lineman. Many have come after Schuessler of late. He had offers from Colorado State and Middle Tennessee State. There is a chance that Mississippi State could offer as well. In fact he visited Starkville this past weekend.

“I still think they are still waiting to see what Jeremy [Liggins],” Conn said. “But I know Nick wanted to check out Mississippi State. He’s still committed to Colorado State. He actually had that visit set up about a month ago. I think he’s a good fit at Colorado State. His strengths fit their pro-style offense.”

Schuessler is 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds. He’s the No. 160 ranked quarterback in the nation. Zerblis is 6-foot-2 and 285-pounds. He’s the No. 23 ranked center in the country.
