Alabama linebacker favors three

For linebacker Harding Harper (Montgomery, Ala./Carver) he’s down to three schools. Well, sort of.

“I like UCF, Vanderbilt and Arkansas,” Harper said. “Those are my top three schools. FIU is kind of in there, too.”

Harper says he plans on making his decision known to the public on Wednesday, which is national signing day.

“For me the coaches really stood out at UCF and they love football,” Harper said. “I have a great relationship with players. UCF has a great campus, great school and it’s a great area.

“I like Vandy. They are up and coming. They had a great year. It’s SEC ball and I could come in an contribute early. The facilities at Arkansas are top notch. And they are top contenders for a national championships and that’s one of my aspirations.”

Harper, 6-foot-1 and 210 pounds, is the No. 97 ranked outside linebacker prospect in the country and the No. 42 ranked recruit from the state of Alabama.
