Deondre Skinner (Patterson, La./Patterson), a tight end prospect from the state of Louisiana, has offers from Texas A&M and Louisiana Lafayette.
“A&M offered me after my sophomore season,” Skinner said. “I haven’t talked to the new staff that much but they said I still have the offer. I like them a little more now that they are in the SEC.”
Skinner, 6-foot-3, 225 pounds, recently attended an LSU junior day and he says the Tigers are high on his list.
“It was a real good junior day and visit,” Skinner said. “They are going to throw the ball even more with their new quarterbacks so that’s nice for me. They have not offered me yet. LSU wants me to come to their camp this summer and see what I can do in person.”
Skinner will attend an Arkansas junior day next month (March 3) as well as Louisiana Lafayette's.
“I will also go to one at Houston,” Skinner said. “I am pretty open with everyone but I want to really look into schools like A&M, LSU, Houston, Arkansas, Purdue and Louisiana Lafayette.”
