Thomas talks big three, UA Game

Miami Booker T. Washington linebacker/defensive end Matthew Thomas took in the Miami-FSU basketball game last weekend during Miami junior day but he's keeping in touch with all three of his schools.

"It's Miami, Florida State and Alabama and I talk to coaches from those three programs all the time," Thomas said. "No one else is jumping in right now."

While the 6-3, 200-pound junior is a long ways away from making a final decision he is planning on checking out his top three programs extensively over the next several months.

"Between spring games, camps and of course the official visit I hope I could see each school more than once," Thomas added.

Thomas also talked about his invitation to play in the 2013 Under Armour All-America game.

"I love the game and I definitely feel like I'm ready to compete on that stage," Thomas said. "It's a great opportunity for me to represent myself, my family and the program."

Former Booker T. Washington standout and current Houston Texans cornerback Brandon Harris was a member of the 2008 Under Armour All-America Game.
