Could Wilson Bell (Prichard,Ala./Blount) be on the verge of his first scholarship offer? It appears so, according to his coach Kevin Sigler.
“No one has offered yet,” Sigler said. “To be honest the film is just now getting out. Auburn, UAB, and Louisiana-Lafayette are all recruiting him. He went to Auburn’s junior day and they really like him and are very high on him. I think he will just need to get out to some camps this summer and show what he can do.”
Bell, 6-foot-4 and 290-pounds, plays offensive guard and projects on the inside.
“We may move him to tackle but last season he started for guard for us,” Sigler said. “This kid has a great work ethic. He will come in and work hard. He will do all the little things right. Wilson is a tough kid who is also great in the classroom.
“This was the first season he had started for us and is now just starting to blossom. He put on the size and is getting stronger.”
Bell has been invited to future junior days at UAB, Louisiana Tech and Louisiana Lafayette.
