Woulard backs off USF commitment

Winter Park (Fla.) quarterback Asiantii Woulard has backed off of his commitment to South Florida.

The 6-foot-4, 200-pound junior announced his decision last night and later said he is still interested in the Bulls.

"I'm definitely still interested in South Florida and I still like the program and the coaching staff," Woulard said. "Right now I don't have any top schools so I'm going to look at everyone and make sure I have the best fit."

Woulard says Auburn, Florida State, Vanderbilt and LSU are among the schools he's going to take a closer look at. He is planning on taking unofficial trips over the summer.

There is also a West Coast program that could jump in the picture.

"I'm really interested in Oregon and I like their offense," Woulard said. "But I'm open right now. There are a lot of programs that are interested but they backed off once they saw I was committed."

Woulard currently has offers from Syracuse, Florida International, Florida A&M and Duke.
