Santa Marina favors two SEC schools

Kenneth Santa Marina (New Orleans, La./McDonough 35), a 6-foot-6, 326-pound offensive line prospect from the Bayou State, has been busy working on his strength since last season's final game.

“Since we lost last year our coach said we were a weak team and that we needed to hit the weights,” Santa Marina said. “So we as a team have been working hard on our lower body. So it’s been a good spring for me and our team. Now I am just in track, throwing the shot put and discus. I am not that good but our coach likes us to do it. I am just anxious to start spring ball. I can’t wait.”

According to Santa Marina he currently has scholarship offers from LSU, Alabama, Colorado, Tulane, Utah, La Tech, Michigan and Kentucky. Two of those stand out with this tackle prospect.

“The first team to offer me was Kentucky,” Santa Marina said. “I have not been up there yet but have been to junior days at both LSU and Alabama. Those were both fun and it was awesome to meet with those coaches. Right now they are my top two favorites. They have a great rivalry when I started watching college football and from that I have always had an interest in both schools.”
