DE Crawford leaves MSU camp with offer

Defensive end Nate Crawford (Pensacola, Fla./West Florida Tech) had such a good experience at the Mississippi State one-day camp that he left Starkville with an offer from the Bulldogs.

And things just got better from there.

"I went to the Mississippi State camp and received an offer and then today I received an offer from Missouri," Crawford said. "That's two SEC schools in two days."

Crawford said he enjoyed his time in Starkville and could make a return in the fall.

"It's a very nice campus and they are remodeling some things and adding on some other things so it's going to be even nicer in a year," Crawford said. "I really liked the coaching staff there as well."

The 6-foot-3, 240-pound junior also has offers from South Florida, Kentucky, Louisville, Memphis, Cincinnati and Florida International.

He is expected to camp at Auburn on Sunday, Florida State next week and Florida later in the month. After that he might take some unofficials.

"I would like to see some of the schools that offered me already," Crawford said. "If they are having camps when I visit I might participate, but otherwise I'm just going to see the campus."

Crawford, who also attended the Alabama camp, believes he did enough to get on the Crimson Tide's radar as well.

"I had a great time at Alabama and the coaches that worked with me said they want me to touch base next week," Crawford added. "We'll see what happens."
