ESPN 300 quarterback Asiantii Woulard (Winter Park, Fla./Winter Park) committed to South Florida for the second time, choosing the Bulls over offers from Rutgers, Syracuse, Purdue and Ole Miss.
The 6-foot-3, 200-pound junior made his announcement on local radio in Tampa.
Earlier in the month Woulard said he would take trips to Florida and Maryland this month but canceled his trip to Florida and most likely will not take a visit to College Park either.
"This is it for me with recruiting," Woulard said. "It's been a lot of fun but now I have a lot to focus on. I want to be a better quarterback and I want to spent more time learning about the program I will be spending the next four years at."
Woulard accounted for almost 2,000 yards and 24 touchdowns rushing and passing last season, his first season playing the position. He committed to South Florida in February but backed out of that decision in early April, citing the need to go through the recruiting process.
All the while, however, Woulard was consistent in saying that South Florida was not out of the picture.
"The coaching staff understood my decision and they kept telling me that I was their top guy," Woulard said. "The fact that they stuck by me meant a lot. It was probably the biggest factor."
Woulard will join his former teammate at Winter Park, wide receiver D'Vario Montgomery, who signed with the Bulls in February.
