Class of 2014 offensive lineman Mason Cole (Tarpon Springs, Fla./East Lake) wasn't able to take part in the one-on-one portions of the Jimbo Fisher Camp on Wednesday evening because of an injured hand.
"I broke a bone in my wrist a couple of weeks ago," Cole said. "I will be in this cast for another 2-3 weeks but I should be good to go for the start of my team's training camp."
The 6-foot-5, 270-pound junior spent the remainder of the evening chatting with offensive line coach Rick Trickett.
"This was a good visit and a good chance to see Coach Trickett at work," Cole added. "He coaches with a lot of energy and he gives you a lot of good information."
Cole's other visits during the summer included USC, Stanford, Clemson and South Carolina. He has offers from Florida State, Florida, Michigan, Ohio State, USC and several others.
"I've enjoyed every place I've been so far," Cole said. "All of the places have been nice and the coaching staffs are doing a great job. I definitely want to check out some more places. I like the schools that have some history and tradition to them."
