LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- Craig Lee's (Redlands, Calif./Redlands) decision will have a special connotation attached.
The 6-foot, 190-pound tailback will make his commitment public on August 15 -- his birthday.
"I am going to make my commitment on my birthday, August 15th," he said.
Lee remained coy on finalists, refusing to name a leader or outline a list. But the four-star talent holds offers from Arizona, Arizona State, California, Colorado, Nebraska, Oregon, Oregon State, San Diego State, UCLA, Utah, Washington and Washington State.
With time running out between now and his announcement, Lee is examining a certain criteria to choose from.
"The people that I am going to be around with for the next four years, the school, the coaching staff, things like that," he said.
Seven-on-seven tournaments admittedly aren't tailored to running backs, Lee knows. But he's still enjoying his time at Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sports taking part in Champion Gridiron Kings.
"It has been good," he said. "I have not been getting a lot of passes and stuff because I am a running back. The competition is good, though, out here. I like the competition."
