Four-star offensive guard Tyrone Crowder has cut his long list of college considerations to four.
North Carolina, Stanford, Georgia and Clemson are the finalists for his services, the Richmond HS senior stated via text message to ESPN.
On the Tigers: "Clemson has a great program and Coach Caldwell is a fantastic coach."
On the Bulldogs: "UGA has a nice campus and Coach [Mark] Richt is a down-to-earth guy."
On the Tar Heels: "UNC is my top in-state school."
On the Cardinal: "Stanford has been one of the schools I have been looking at for a while, and when they offered I had to put them in my top choices."
The Rockingham, N.C., prospect said he will take official visits to those four schools before making his decision.
Crowder is considered the 97th best overall prospect in the country and the nation's No. 2 prospect at center. He is ranked the top prospect in North Carolina.
