De'Asian Richardson chooses West Virginia

Four-star defensive lineman De'Asian Richardson committed to West Virginia on Monday, according to Orange Park (Fla.) High School assistant coach Ryan Wolfe.

The 6-foot-3, 280-pound senior chose the Mountaineers over Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Missouri. He is 14th commitment in West Virginia's recruiting class of 2013 and the fourth four-star prospect.

Richardson originally committed to Florida State in late February but his pledge lasted less than a day. He has yet to take a visit to West Virginia but will take his official during the season. Wolfe said Richardsons will likely take all five officials and re-evaluate his recruitment after that process if necessary.
