DB Boaz Joseph discusses future plans

Defensive back Boaz Joseph (Weston, Fla./Cypress Bay) took an official visit to Purdue earlier in the month and is looking to head back on the road soon.

However, the 6-foot, 190-pound senior isn’t sure where his next trip will be yet.

“I am talking to several schools, but I don’t have another official visit planned right now,” Joseph said. “I might take one or two in November and wait until my season is done for the rest of them.”

Joseph said he enjoyed the visit to Purdue.

“I liked what I had the chance to see, it came across like a very positive environment,” Joseph explained. “It’s important to go to a program that balances athletics and academics and a place where I can focus on the important things.”

Among the schools Joseph will be looking at for his next official are Rutgers, Wisconsin, Vanderbilt, Syracuse, Missouri, Kentucky and Nebraska. All have offered.

“The list continues to grow, so I’m going to take my time with this,” Joseph added. “I don’t have a favorite school, no one really stands out. I’m just going to be patient.”

Joseph said he’s going to attend the Miami-FSU game this weekend and he’s hearing from the Hurricanes a little bit.

“They have reached out to see some film but nothing more than that,” Joseph said. “We’ll see where that goes.”
