New Tennessee coach Butch Jones grabbed another commitment that was previously committed to him at Cincinnati.,
Three-star guard Dylan Wiesman (Cincinnati/Colerain) committed to the Volunteers on Friday. He decommitted from Cincinnati shortly after Jones left for Tennessee and the Bearcats hired Tommy Tuberville.
Wiesman will visit Tennessee officially on Jan. 18, but he was in Knoxville over the summer.
"I loved it there last summer, and the fact that Coach Jones and [Don] Mahoney went down made me feel so comfortable with going down there," Wiesman said.
Jones and Wiesman talked over the phone Friday, and that was when Wiesman let Jones know of his decision.
"He said it made his day and that we were going to go to the top," Wiesman said.
Earlier this week, three-star tight end A.J. Branisel committed to the Volunteers. He also was previously committed to Cincinnati.
