Scouts: Bonner is versatile, instinctive

There is no question this is a very talented football player when focused on the game. Deion Bonner (Columbus, Ga./Carver) is quick and smooth in transition, fast and athletic but his best asset is arguably his awareness skills.

This is an instinctive corner with great instincts and ball skills. He anticipates and breaks on the pass as good as most in this class and should bring scheme versatility to new Tennessee defensive coordinator Sal Sunseri's back-seven as we feel Bonner could also develop as a Nickel back or even safety.
