Justin Thomason (McDonough, Ga./Eagles Christian Landing Academy) visited North Carolina this weekend. He committed to the Tar Heels and new head coach Larry Fedora.
"Yes, I committed to North Carolina," said Thomason via text.
Thomas, 6-foot-3 and 235 pounds, is one of the top defensive end prospects from the Peach State. He committed to North Carolina over teams like Missouri, Louisville, N.C. State, Syracuse and others.
Thomason is the No. 126-ranked defensive end in the nation and the No. 100-ranked player in the state of Georgia.
